WHAT WE DO
Grow our Valley is a dynamic initiative created by women in the South Penninsula of Cape Town activating meaningful sustainable solutions to address systemic poverty and unemployment in local marginalised communities.
The vision is to uplift, support and empower women with skills training and ‘start-up kits’ - including resources - so they can work co-operatively in sisterhood to create micro businesses to support their families.
This will include cleaning services, making craft and other products to sell.
WHO WE ARE
We are a group of diverse women from the South Peninsula of Cape Town, whose passion is to support women at a grass roots level to:
1- Create uplifting circles of sisterhood in order to rise out of poverty.
2- Grow connected, co-operative, collaborative togetherness to boost morale and generate support and inspiring ideas when times are tough.

Why not become a 'Grow our Valley Angel’ and / or a 'Grow our Valley Ambassador?'
- Grow our Valley Angels will make regular monthly donations so we can buy the goods and resources to get these micro businesses up and running.
- Grow our Valley Ambassadors will donate but also help spread the word via their friends/contacts and social media - we need kindred spirits to help widen our network.
We are working towards an online shop to sell beautiful crafts and handmade products and all profits go straight to the women who make them, and back into buying more resources for them to continue.
